Abstract

Die Aktualisierung der ifo Konjunkturprognose vom 24. Juni 2003 trägt den veränderten finanzpolitischen Rahmendaten (z. B. Vorziehen der Steuerreform, vorgesehene Reform des Gesundheitswesens) sowie den neuesten Ergebnissen des ifo Konjunkturtests Rechnung. Im kommenden Jahr wird die Konjunktur wieder stärker werden. Das reale Bruttoinlandsprodukt dürfte im Verlauf des Jahres 2004 um 1 3/4 % steigen. Dies ist etwas mehr als die Trendwachstumsrate. In Ostdeutschland (neue Bundesländer ohne Berlin) wird die gesamtwirtschaftliche Produktion 2003 und 2004 stärker zunehmen als in Westdeutschland. Auf dem Arbeitsmarkt wird sich die Erholung 2004 noch nicht auswirken.
