Entwicklung der New Economy in Ostdeutschland
Abstract
Trotz der aktuellen Krise in der IuK-Wirtschaft bleibt die New Economy die Triebfeder für mehr Wachstum und Beschäftigung. Sie hat in Ostdeutschland (einschließlich Berlin) noch ein geringeres Gewicht als in Westdeutschland. Die Arbeitsplatzdichte ist deutlich niedriger, nur 5,6 % der gesamtwirtschaftlichen Wertschöpfung entstehen in der New Economy (Westdeutschland 7,1 %). Von der Verfügbarkeit von Fachkräften und der staatlichen FuE-Infrastruktur her verfügt Ostdeutschland über brauchbare, aber noch verbesserungsfähige Standortbedingungen für wissensgestützte Firmen. Unternehmertum und die Gründungsbereitschaft in der New Economy gilt es weiter zu fördern. Trotz besserer Performance ostdeutscher Firmen am Neuen Markt, drohen Finanzierungsprobleme zum Engpass für ein Aufholen in der New Economy zu werden.Download Info
