Gesamtwirtschaftliche Perspektiven für Deutschland

Abstract

In Deutschland hat sich die konjunkturelle Erholung im Verlauf des Jahres 1998 leicht verlangsamt fortgesetzt. Die gesamtwirtschaftliche Kapazitätsauslastung nahm weiter zu, wenn auch weniger rasch als zuvor. Die konjunkturellen Auftriebskräfte haben, bei leicht nachlassender Exportdynamik, mehr und mehr die Binnennachfrage erfaßt, so daß der Aufschwung an Breite gewonnen hat. Die konjunkturelle Expansion hat auch den Arbeitsmarkt erreicht. Die Beschäftigung nahm im Verlauf dieses Jahres erstmals seit längerem wieder zu. Bei gefestigter Binnennachfrage verringerte sich der Anstieg der Verbraucherpreise weiter.
