Der sächsische Arbeitsmarkt im Juni 1997

Abstract

Die Zahl der Arbeitslosen in der Bundesrepublik ging im Juni 1997 um 33.200 auf 4,222 Millionen zurück, saisonbereinigt errechnet sich jedoch ein Anstieg der Erwerbslosenzahl um 11.000. In Sachsen ging die Zahl der Erwerbstätigen mit 2.100 leicht zurück, die Arbeitslosenquote betrug 17,6%. Saisonbereinigt ergibt sich aber auch hier ein Anstieg der Arbeitslosen um 2.100. Weiterhin werden Daten zur Kurzarbeit, Anzahl der Beschäftigten in ABM sowie Beschäftigte nach §249h Arbeitsförderungsgesetzt veröffentlicht und analysiert. Der Autor kommt zu dem Ergebnis, daß die hohen sächsischen Arbeitslosenzahlen im ersten Halbjahr 1997 Resultat einer rückläufigen Arbeitsmarktentlastung durch arbeitsmarktpolitische Instrumente bei einem gleichbleibenden Niveau der Unterbeschäftigung sind. Für die Monate Juli und August 1997 wird in Sachsen mit einem weiteren Anstieg der Arbeitslosen gerechnet, und auch für die Folgemonate ist keine Trendwende in Sicht.
