Bis 2000 stagnierender Energiebedarf in den neuen Bundesländern - 2010 doppelt so hoher Erdgasverbrauch -

Abstract

In den neuen Bundesländern wird im Jahre 2000 der Primärenergieverbrauch bei 2.163,5 PJ liegen, schätzt PROGNOS, und hat damit ihren 1992 vorgelegten Schätzwert um fast 14 % nach unter revidiert. Gegenüber dem 1995 registrierten Verbrauch wäre das nur eine mäßige Zunahme um insgesamt 2 %. Zwischen den beiden verglichenen Prognosen differierende Schätzwerte des Energieverbrauchs sind großteils auf Unterschiede bei den getroffenen Annahmen zurückzuführen. Als Wachstum des Brutto-Inlandsproduktes wird eine Rate von jahresdurchschnittlich 6,2 % unterstellt, die Rate bis 2000 dürfte aus heutiger Sicht zu hoch sein. Der Anteil der Haushalte am gesamten Endenergieverbrauch fällt auf rd. ein Fünftel. Der Verbrauchstrend in diesem Sektor wird vor allem von der Raumwärme bestimmt. Der Energiebedarf im Kleinverbrauchersektor soll um ein Zehntel auf fast 353 PJ ansteigen. Der Energieverbrauch im Verkehrssektor steigt sehr stark um 58 % auf reichlich 518 PJ, womit der Anteil in der Endenergiebilanz von einem Viertel auf ein Drittel zunimmt. Bis 2010 soll der Stromverbrauch um fast 35 % auf knapp 100 Mrd. kWh kräftig steigen, um bis 2020 um weitere 13 % zuzunehmen.
