Die sächsischen Kommunalfinanzen 1993 im Vergleich zu anderen Bundesländern

Abstract

Die Situation der Kommunalhaushalte in Sachsen ist durchaus positiv zu beurteilen. Insbesondere den Vergleich mit den anderen neuen Bundesländern brauchen die Kommunen Sachsens nicht zu scheuen. Der Vergleich mit den Kommunen der Altbundesländer zeigt besonders bei den Steuereinnahmen sowie den Personalausgaben noch große Differenzen auf, die es mittelfristig zu beseitigen gilt. Ein weiteres Ziel sollte zudem die sukzessive Substitution der hohen laufenden Zuweisungen durch die steigenden Steuereinnahmen sein.
