Der sächsische Arbeitsmarkt im April 1995 : Aufschwung kraftlos - Arbeitskräftenachfrage schrumpft

Abstract

Der erwartete Frühjahrsaufschwung auf dem Arbeitsmarkt verlief bisher enttäuschend. Die Zahl der Arbeitslosen in ganz Deutschland verminderte sich im April 1995 gegenüber dem Vormonat lediglich um 69.000 Personen (-1,9 %) auf einen Bestand von 3,60 Mill. Dieser Rückgang ist im wesentlichen der saisonalen Entwicklung zuzuschreiben. Die konjunkturelle Komponente blieb weitgehend kraftlos. In Ostdeutschland gab es Ende April 1,04 Mill. Arbeitslose, das waren 23.000 weniger als im Monat zuvor (-2,2 %). Mehr als die Hälfte dieses Rückgangs entfiel dabei auf Sachsen. Die Entwicklung des Arbeitsmarktes verlief hier etwas günstiger als in den meisten anderen Bundesländern. Während im Freistaat im März noch 300.300 Arbeitslose gezählt wurden, verringerte sich deren Zahl im Folgemonat auf 288.400 (-4,0 %).
