Zur Situation der Landwirtschaft in den neuen Bundesländern

Abstract

Der Bericht befaßt sich mit der Situation der Landwirtschaft in den neuen Bundesländern, die nach der Auflösung und Umstrukturierung der ehemaligen landwirtschaftlichen Produktionsgenossenschaften neue Rechtsformen annehmen muß. Die Struktur wird weiterhin durch Großbetriebe geprägt, die bei Familienbetrieben 135 ha und bei juristischen Personen 1.240 ha Fläche bewirtschaften. Wegen des hohen Kapitalbedarfs beim Aufbau von Ställen und Tierbeständen hat der Ackerbau eine größere Bedeutung. Die Anzahl der Beschäftigten ist stark verringert worden. Im Jahr 1992 waren in den Unternehmen der juristischen Personen mit 142.300 Arbeitskräften 65 % weniger beschäftigt als ein Jahr zuvor. Der Bericht gliedert die wirtschaftliche Situation der Unternehmens- und Produktionsformen nach verschiedenen Merkmalen (Bilanzvermögen, Unternehmensertrag, Unternehmensaufwand, Bruttoinvestition, Eigenkapital, Fremdkapitaö). Die Einzelunternehmen müssen in nächster Zukunft die Produktionskosten weiter senken, da von der Preisentwicklung keine Entspannung der Ertragslage zu erwarten ist. Die juristischen Personen müssen die hohe Beschäftigung sozialverträglich abbauen und die Vermögensverhältnisse regeln.
