Meeting the Statistical Challenges of Financial Innovation: Introducing New Data on Securitisation

Abstract

This article introduces a new data series on the aggregated balance sheet and transactions of special purpose vehicles resident in Ireland, which complements the new Monetary Financial Institution data on securitisation.
