Démocratie participative et attractivité des villes en Amérique latine. Étude comparée de Rosario (Argentine) et Villa El Salvador (Pérou)

Abstract

The article compares the urban development policies in two Latin-American cities, Rosario in Argentina and Villa El Salvador in Peru. Both of these policies are characterized by the implementation of participative local governance. An analysis is made of the impact that the processes of participative democracy have on the regional attractiveness of these two cities, both from a national and an international point of view.
