Rámec spolupráce Medzinárodného menového fondu, Svetovej banky a Svetovej obchodnej organizácie

Abstract

Architektúra medzinárodného ekonomického systému navrhnutá po Druhej svetovej vojne bola dotvorená až v deväťdesiatych rokoch 20. storočia vznikom Svetovej obchodnej organizácie. Reakcia na zmeny v svetovej ekonomike znamenala prekrytie cieľov a nástrojov Medzinárodného menového fondu, Svetovej banky a GATT, následne Svetovej obchodnej organizácie. Dosiahnutie koherencie a efektivity na úrovni medzinárodných ekonomických organizácií predpokladá tesnejšiu spoluprácu a vymedzenie cieľov. Vývoj vzťahov medzi týmito organizáciami viedol k ich formalizovaniu prostredníctvom dohôd uzatvorených v druhej polovici deväťdesiatych rokov, ktoré by mali zaistiť koherenciu prístupov, zaistiť komunikačné kanály a prostredníctvom štatútov pozorovateľov rozšíriť vzájomnú spoluprácu.
