Abstract

V stati sa analyzuje problém sociológie medzinárodných vzťahov ako interdisciplinárnej vedy, ktorá je odborovou sociologickou disciplínou a skúma medzinárodné vzťahy ako špecifický sociálny fenomén, ktorý je organicky spojený aj s ďalšími ich aspektmi – politickými, ekonomickými, právnymi atď. Zo sociologického hľadiska predstavujú medzinárodné vzťahy rozsiahly, mnohostranný a zložitý súhrn javov a procesov vznikajúcich v interakcii rôznych subjektov. Dôraz je položený na makrosociálne dimenzie medzinárodných vzťahov, ktoré sú spojené s interakciou aktérov v nich. Podáva sa prehľad vývoja sociológie medzinárodných vzťahov od 60. rokov minulého storočia. Poukazuje sa na vplyv globalizácie a postmodernizmu na sociologické skúmanie súčasných medzinárodných vzťahov. Charakterizujú sa vybrané teoretické a metodologické problémy súčasnej sociológie medzinárodných vzťahov.
