Stretávanie sa Ruska a USA vo vojensko-bezpečnostnej oblasti v Strednej Ázii: prípad Uzbekistanu

Abstract

Cieľom článku je na prípade Uzbekistanu predstaviť priebeh a súčasný stav rusko-amerického stretávania sa vo vojensko-bezpečnostnej oblasti v Strednej Ázii. Pri tomto stretávaní možno vypozorovať niekoľko konfrontačných a kooperačných trendov, ktoré sú ovplyvňované prebiehajúcim konfliktom v Afganistane, nestabilnou situáciou v stredoázijských štátoch, ale aj celkovým stavom rusko-amerických vzťahov. V súčasnosti sa rusko-americké stretávanie v Uzbekistane, ale aj v celom stredoázijskom regióne, nachádza na úrovni najintenzívnejšej spolupráce, ktorá je predovšetkým dôsledkom spoločného záujmu na porazení znovuzrodeného afganského Talibanu.
