Medzinárodná bezpečnosť z pohľadu postmoderných konfliktov v Afrike

Abstract

Po skončení studenej vojny a rozpade bipolárneho usporiadania sveta sa v oblasti medzinárodnej bezpečnosti objavil nový fenomén – postmoderný konflikt. Ide o konflikt, ktorý je možné definovať ako vnútroštátny ozbrojený konflikt, v ktorom sa stretávajú a navzájom bojujú regulárne i neregulárne ozbrojené sily a skupiny, paramilitárne a gerilové skupiny, trénovaní a vycvičení vojaci, naverbovaní žoldnieri i netrénovaní a nepripravovaní ozbrojenci z radov civilistov, vrátane detí a neplnoletých, a zároveň ako konflikt s veľkým množstvom civilných obetí, ktoré zvyčajne (i niekoľkonásobne) prevyšujú padlých z radov vojakov. Keďže väčšina z týchto konfliktov sa odohrávala na africkom kontinente, autor sa v článku zaoberá vybranými post-modernými konfliktami, ktoré sa odohrali v Afrike po skončení studenej vojny.
