Abstract

About the problem of teacher’s evaluation it is important to ask first what significance and effect has this phenomenon for the implicated persons. Discussing about the effect in the evaluation would allow not only to know what people do but why do they act (or do not act) as they act and what these actions do mean for them. So we can choose a broad approach of the evaluation which permits to be estimated as far as it is workable, total significant factors, without simplifying wrongly the complexity of the variables that interfere. From this perspective, the subjective dimensions, which gives a meaning of the evaluation process (the representations, attitudes, perceptions, believes, personal opinions implicated in the evaluation context) become decisive factors of the quality of this process.
