Abstract

This paper presents some of the results of the cooperation between the author, a physical anthropologist, and Willem Schaafsma. The subjects of study to be discussed in this paper all refer to human evolution, in particular to the process of hominisation. It is described how the interest of the author in these subjects arose, which new mathematical tools were developed, and what are the general conclusions.
