Characteristics of the public good “defense“ and the attitude of the society to the defense expenditures

Abstract

The articles reveals issues on the nature of public goods, why do they exist, what is the role of the state for their creation and offering to the society. The focus is on the public good “Defense” in Bulgaria and the attitude of society thereto. The investigation of the public opinion poll intends to answer the question, whether the theoretical statement on the public goods is adequate for the public good “Defense” in our country.
