Organizational Behavior of the Agent in Insurance

Abstract

The study presents the specifics in the organizational behavior of the insurance agent as a professional intermediator of the insurance company. In this connection are determined the main and additional functions which the insurance agent should have during the intermediator activity in the insurance. The focus is brought to the professional knowledge which the agent should have concerning the specifics of the insurance activity and of the changes in the market and social-economic environment. Discussed are the requirements to the professional and personal qualities of the insurance agent which are in the basis of the successful supply activity in the insurance. Studied is the influence of the corporate culture on the organizational behavior of the insurance agent. Analyzed is the state and perspectives of the agent activity on the national insurance market.
