Abstract

After the crisis, larger banks - and among them UniCredit - are redefining their organization towards a more decentralized decision-making process, increasing managers’ autonomy at local level and strengthening the role of Relationship banking. The new organizational model adopted by UniCredit in Italy in early 2013 thus guarantees an increased proximity to the needs of clients and a faster and more efficient decision processes
