Abstract

in economia cunoasterii Internetul a schimbat fundamental nu numai modul in care oamenii comunica, muncesc, traiesc si se dezvolta social si profesional, ci si modul in care firmele isi stabilesc directiile strategice de actiune si isi dezvolta stocul relational. Internetul devenind foarte important datorita faptului ca este, in acelasi timp, un mediu de comunicare, canal de distributie, tehnologie, instrument de dezvoltare cu implicatii foarte mari asupra intreprinderilor, dar si a societatii omenesti, in general. Necesitatea prezentei firmelor in cadrul retelei globale este evidenta, indiferent de costuri si de forma, insa se pune problema daca site-ul este doar o modalitate de comunicare cu mediul de afaceri (clienti, utilizatori de Internet, potentiali parteneri etc.) sau reprezinta un important instrument strategic de marketing. Practica a demonstrat ca site-urile pot fi utilizate pentru comunicarea ofertei complete, dar si a altor informatii privind identitatea firmei. Insa intreprinderile vizionare, adoptand un comportament proactiv, isi fundamenteaza strategia de dezvoltare avand web-ul drept ax central sau (cel putin) componenta de baza.
