Structure géographique du commerce extérieur de l'Afrique. De la phase coloniale à l'ère des indépendances

Abstract

Cet article présente des séries statistiques retraçant l'évolution de la structure géographique des exportations et des importations des pays africains situés au nord et au sud du Sahara au xx[ème] siècle. Il a trois objectifs:1) combler une lacune dans l'historiographie, 2) tester la thèse dite du repli sur l'empire durant les années de dépression de l'entre-deux-guerres et 3) mesurer l'impact de la décolonisation sur la structure géographique des échanges de l'Afrique.
